Ava getting her feeding:
Wearing her cool sunglasses under the light:
Looking at her Aunt Jennifer suspiciously:
Relaxing:
Looking at her mommy:
The nurse let me (Jennifer) in to see her, even though only parents and grandparents are allowed; it was so good to see her! Kimberly got to hold her for about an hour and a half, and Ava did great the whole time. They have decreased her air flow and her last few feedings today were all breast milk. She's getting a little better each day.

Praise God for answered prayers. She is a beautiful little girl and I know you are all so proud of her. I will continue to keep Ava and the whole family in my prayers. I pray that she will continue to grow and gain strength and weight so that you can all be home together soon. God bless you all.
Amazing... simply amazing! Look at all of that blond, blond hair!! Please give our best to the whole family. Our prayers are with you...
actually, Jen, that hair is RED! It looks a little blonde in the pictures, but it's red in person. I can't get over it...no one in either immediate family has red hair; you have to go back two generations!
She's doing so much better today! They took out her IV and her nasal canula for her oxygen was supposed to be removed today as well. She's progressing really well.
love that she has had so much progress-she is already a strong girl-woo-hoo!!
