At least she is honest...

I had to share a conversation I just had with Ava. It is pretty typical at our house, but still a little funny. Audrey was playing in her exersaucer and dropped the rings she was playing with. I was folding clothes and asked Ava to hand Audrey's rings back to her. She walks over to Audrey and the following conversation took place:

Me: Can you hand Audrey her rings?

Ava: Where are they?

Me: They are right there in front of Audrey.

Ava: (Looking up in the air) I can't find them!

Me: Ava, they are right in front of you on the floor!

Ava: I don't see them.

Me: (Getting up to hand Audrey her rings) Do you look for anything?

Ava: No, I really don't! (as she walks off to continue what she was doing)


Obviously not! At least she is honest. Something can be right in front of her and she will say she can't find it. My mom says this is payback.

4 Months

As of last week, Audrey Kate is now 4 months old! I can't believe it!! It is going way too fast!

We had Audrey's 4 month check-up today and here are her stats:

Weight: 12 lbs. 7 oz. (25%)
Height: 25 1/4 in. (90%)
Head: 16 in. (50%)

The doctor said we are just going to have another tall, skinny baby. Everyone keeps saying how HUGE Audrey is compared to Ava at this age, but this is really not the case. Here are Ava's 4 month stats:

Weight: 11 lbs. 6 oz. (10%)
Height: 24 1/4 in. (50%)
Head: 15 1/2 in. (10%)

Ava was just a pound less, an inch shorter, and her head was a half inch smaller. There really isn't a big difference between their sizes.
